10 Best New Products at Costco in December – Technologist

It is no secret that money expert Clark Howard loves all things Costco. It is easy to see why with staples like their Tire Center and Optical Department as well as a constant array of new inventory.

As a superfan of Costco myself, I love walking through the store and discovering fresh, new products. Sometimes, these products are from top-name brands. Sometimes, they are from small, local companies. Regardless, it is all part of the fun. Especially when the product is food-related, and you can try free samples!

New Products at Costco This Month

Each month, I will take a look at the newest Costco products. While the majority will be under $100, if I find a particularly good deal, I will let you know about it.

Remember: Costco products are not guaranteed to be there from month to month, so if you discover a new product that you can’t live without, be sure to snag it.

I learned a tip from a Costco associate: You will find new items right when you walk into the store and on the ends of the aisles. While this is true in many cases, don’t let that stop you from checking out cool new finds all over the club.

With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror and the holidays up ahead, I am showcasing new items that would be perfect to snag now or give as a gift.

MOBILE Warming Heated Gloves

Why I chose this:

With meteorological winter already in full swing, these heated gloves can keep your hands toasty for up to 8 hours. They have four temperature settings and are 3M insulated.

Costco says that these are an online-only item, but my club was selling them for a reduced price in-club, so be sure to take a peek. With the holidays up ahead, these would make great gifts, and I can’t forget to mention one important detail: They are touchscreen-compatible!

Squishmallows Snuggle Throw Blanket, Assorted Designs

Why I chose this:

Kids and adults alike love Squishmallows! Well, now Costco is selling eight different assorted throw blankets. These are plushy, machine washable, and huge! Just how huge? 50”x70” to be exact.

Costco is currently taking $5.00 off as a manufacturer’s savings for a limited time, and this price includes shipping, which makes it truly an affordable gift. Costco is limiting a maximum of 10 per member. Currently, it is going for $14.99 in-club and $17.99 online.

Shark MessMaster Portable Wet/Dry Vacuum, 1 Gallon Capacity, True Grip Accessory Suite

Why I chose this:

I love my Shark vacuums. They stand the test of time and help make cleanup a breeze. What really caught my eye was when I read the box. It says that the vacuum is designed not to clog or lose suction, which is a pretty big deal when using it in the car, garage, or anywhere else.

This lightweight container is designed to be easily emptied and cleaned. The online and in-club prices are the same, and Costco is also offering free shipping on this item. If you are looking to get a jump on spring cleaning or want to be ready for those salty/sandy winter conditions, definitely be sure to check this out.

G.O.A.T. FOODS Licorice.com Assortment, 4-Pack, 48 oz. Total

Why I chose this:

Are you a licorice fan like me? Or do you know someone who is? This assortment makes the perfect gift. With four different varieties inside, there is something for everyone. This is an online-only item, and the price of $59.99 includes shipping.

Costco has really upped its gift-giving game. As initially shown in the December issue of Costco Connection, there are currently over 200 gift baskets available online! I highly recommend checking it out compared to the competitors.

bella 12”x22” XL Griddle with Warming Tray

Why I chose this:

Picture this: You are making pancakes on Christmas morning, but they aren’t quite ready, and the home fries are getting cold. This large griddle with a warming tray has solved that problem!

It features a 12″ x 22″ cooking surface, an easy-to-use dial, and a ceramic nonstick cooking surface! My local club is selling them for $39.99, which is the same as the online price. Costco also ships them for $2.99, lower than their average shipping costs.

Kirkland Signature Duke Rectangular Bolster Pet Bed

Why I chose this:

I covered this last year, and Costco has been rolling out more sizes and colors, including this one! It features upholstery-grade fabrics and a plushy top and is machine washable! Currently, it comes in blue and brown, but I am sure they will roll out more colors soon!

The Costco website shows that this is suitable for large dogs up to 85 pounds. At the time of writing, my club did not have them, but they are available online for $59.99 with shipping included.

11 Bottle Wine Rack

Why I chose this:

I overheard a couple talking about a white elephant gift for an event they had to go to, and it got me thinking. For the price point of $18.99 in-club and $25.99 online, it would make a great gift!

This wine rack holds 11 bottles, can be positioned vertically or horizontally, and looks incredibly sturdy! Take a peek, as it has a pretty good price point for the quality.

Crisp Power Protein Pretzels

Why I chose this:

I don’t usually cover food, but these have been a major find! One of my goals for 2024 was to cut back on sugar and carbs in my diet. Usually, sensible snacks tend to be on the bland side. On a whim, I grabbed a bag, and I wish I had grabbed more on my recent visit. So good! It is at the top of the list for my next visit.

As of now, these are only sold in-club and cost $7.99 per bag. If you are looking for a snack that doesn’t break the bank, definitely check these out. They check all the boxes in my book!

Ello 10-piece Glass Meal Prep Container Set

Why I chose this:

My sister has NEVER been to a Costco before! Growing up in the Hudson Valley, NY, it is Sam’s Club territory. I was walking my club with my sister, and she flipped for these containers. What she loves is that they are dishwasher—and microwave-safe, have a snap lid, and are BPA-free.

What I love most about these is that I now have fancy new food storage containers at a great price. These are selling for $26.99 online and $19.99 in the club.

Tramontina 5-quart All-In-One Plus Ceramic Non-Stick Pan, 7-piece set

Why I chose this:

There is a new search option on Costco.com to sort by “most viewed” items and this 7-piece set ranked high on this list. It is currently $10 off through December 13 and includes free shipping!

Besides having a ceramic non-stick interior, it is dishwasher and oven-safe up to 400 degrees. Not sure which color to choose? It comes in four options: green, blue, gray, and orange, so I am sure you will find one that matches your unique taste.
